Garrett Walsh brings a fresh, driven, and client-focused approach to Orr & Associates, shaped by an upbringing rooted in athletics, teamwork, and adaptability. Originally from California, Garrett spent his childhood and teen years deeply involved in sports—especially baseball and soccer—which taught him discipline, focus, and resilience. When his family moved to South Dakota during COVID, he embraced the transition, graduating high school there in 2022.

Garrett went on to study Biochemistry at South Dakota State University while working multiple jobs. Through that process, he discovered a passion for relationship-building and helping people navigate important life decisions—ultimately leading him toward the insurance industry. After earning his license, Garrett joined Orr & Associates to build a long-term career in a field that aligns with his strengths and values.

Early in his career, Garrett is developing a strong foundation in commercial insurance, with a growing focus on commercial auto and contractor-based coverage. He excels at working with small business owners and tradespeople, breaking down complex coverage options in a clear, approachable way.

Clients appreciate Garrett’s genuine, patient, and attentive communication style. He prioritizes clarity, honesty, and long-term trust, ensuring every client feels supported and confident in their protection. Outside of work, Garrett stays active, plays sports, explores the outdoors, and continues working toward his personal and professional goals.
